Review
Christopher Nolan's Memento is a mystery thriller that revolved around Leonard (Guy Pearce) as he investigates the murder of his wife which was his last memory. The jigsaw styled movie is not played in an chronological order which fits the investigative theme of the movie. The movie is not only has a meaningful story but also a puzzle of sorts as we see Leonard put the pieces together with his Polaroids, tattoos and relationships with people in the town such as Natalie (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Teddy (Joe Pantoliano). Each scene is a new puzzle piece that eventually fits together for the unexpected ending. The film is a huge brain teaser that will keep you thinking even after you finish the movie, it will keep you guessing throughout and after the movie. Memento's new and innovative narrative style makes Memento a much watch. Although the un-chronological idea of film was around before Memento, Nolan has successfully incorporated that style into the film.
Although the movie may be slow for people I would still recommend the film to anybody.
BRAIN TEASINGLY SPICY!!!!!
