Shrek is a film about a big green ogre that lives peacefully in his swamp. His swamp then becomes overtaken by a bunch of fairy tale creatures that have been banished from Lord Farquaad's kingdom. In a desperate effort to regain the peace of his swamp Shrek goes to visit Lord Farquaad and forms a deal with him. During his quest Shrek meets Donkey and the two become partners in crime on their adventures. Shrek is sent to rescue Princess Fiona, who is waiting to be rescued by her "true love", from a tower that is guarded by a fire breathing dragon. On there return Shrek beings to get feelings for the princess but the princess is hiding a massive secret.
Review
I greatly enjoyed the film! It is perfect for viewers of all ages due to its ageless sense of humour and classic messages of friendship between the unlikeliest of friends.
For this Dreamwork's classic I give Shrek an "Extremely Spicy" film review and would recommend watching it to anyone with a sense of humour.
